James Baird

James is an Associate Director in SI Partners London team, advising on buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions for UK, US and European clients in the Technology & Data services, Consulting and Marketing Communications sectors.

 James is responsible for market research and target identification, financial analysis & company valuation, deal modelling & offer structuring, preparation of materials, excess working capital negotiations, reviewing legal documents and general project management workstreams. His recent deals include Hume Brophy’s sale to Penta, Copper’s sale to RSK, Discover.ai’s sale to Talkwalker and Molzi’s sale to Brainlabs.

Prior to joining SI Partners in 2019, James graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in Economics and a Masters in Finance and Investment Management. James initially joined the company as an intern before progressing to Associate Director.
