We are pleased to welcome Raymond So as the new Chairman of SI Partners Asia. Raymond is an advertising veteran with 32 years agency experience.
He was Chairman of BBDO Advertising Asia Pacific Region before he retired in 2006. Jimmy Lam is leaving to take up a new position at DDB in North China as Vice Chairman and Chief Creative Officer.
Raymond has extensive experience within the industry across the Asia-Pacific region. Most notably he worked to establish and subsequently expand J.Walter Thompson Co. Ltd's Greater China presence; over the course of 14 years, he rose from Managing Director of JWT China to Chairman & CEO of JWT North East Asia .
Raymond is a recognized Asian leader in the advertising industry. He was the first Chinese to be appointed as World Vice President of the International Advertising Association. He is currently serving as Vice Chairman of the Asian Federation of Advertising Associations and advisor of the Taipei Association of Advertising Agencies. Raymond has been elected Chapter President of the International Advertising Association Taipei Chapter and Chairman of the Taipei Association of Accredited Advertising Agencies.
Raymond is also an active participant of other social and educational services. He is currently serving as board member of the Chung Chi College Board of Trustees, as an advisor to the Chinese University of Hong Kong Business School and as President of the University's Business School Shanghai Alumni Association.
Jimmy Lam has been Chairman of SI Partners Asia since May 2011.
